Boyz 2 Men – A Youth CG for BOYS grades 9-12 Urban Grind Coffee Shop Fridays 630pm Begins March 7

High school boys will discuss topics and issues related to things essential to maturity and survival as a young man in the world and in Christ. Sessions may include games, lessons, and small projects related to interviewing, dress for success, college and careers, and more.  There will also be a chance for youth to decide topics or choose a book of their own that they would like facilitators to discuss and present on for various sessions as well.  Ultimately, young men will walk away with knowledge and skills related to maturing as a young adult in their respective schools, families, and communities.

Dad from a Distance: How non-custodial fathers can still be fantastic Dads tba Saturday May 17 830am-12noon

“Dads from a Distance” provides perspectives on why it’s so important for non-custodial fathers to also be great Dads and provides an extensive toolbox of more than 60 ideas and strategies to get there. It’s a must read for any father separated from their children, no matter the distance and a great read for all fathers who want to strengthen their relationship with their children.  This one day workshop will be led by the book’s author and Impactor Greg Gray.

Explore the New Testament’s story of Jesus Christ and the early days of the Christian community that later became what we know as the Church.  Learn the importance of the New Testament and how it relates to the Christian experience today.   This interactive group is suitable for both beginning and experienced students of the Bible.

When Someone You Love Is In Prison Workshop HJ Russell Building 504 Fair Street Monday March 31 6:30-8:30 pm

Why is one in thirteen persons in Georgia incarcerated, on parole, or on probation?  Do you know anyone who is trying to restore his/her life after being in the corrections system?  Come to this session for an engaging, interactive, and creative discussion to learn what you can do to help bring healing to our families and community.

Word with Friends! WEEKLY Drop In “Bible Study” (Registration Welcome, but NOT Required!) Community Grounds Cafe (Turner Field Area) Wednesdays 630pm Begins March 5

Come join this interactive study that will help you establish or strengthen your basic understanding of the Bible and the foundation of your faith. Study and learn with a small group in an engaging, interactive atmosphere. This new Connection Group will meet each week to discuss different topics from the Bible, ranging from The Christian Life, The Issue of Faith, and Myths of the Bible, to What Does the Bible Say about Controversial Issues? You can come one time or you can come each week. Bring your Bible or your Bible app, a note pad, and an open mind. Beginning and experienced Bible readers are welcome. Registration is welcome, but not required.  Just come by!

You Got Served – A Youth CG (boys & girls grades 6-8) – East Atlanta Grant Park - Hodge Podge Coffee House Saturdays 9am Begins March 8

Come for friendship,fellowship, fun and find yourself working with other youth to create a service-learning project designed to serve others in the community.  Youth are engaged in service-learning and provide direct service to the community while they learn and grow in their knowledge, skill, and attitudes.
