Week 5: Sunday, April 12th: Easter Sunday
Impact Church Message Coronavirus: Sunday, April 12, 2020: Easter Sunday
Dear Impactors and Friends of Impact,
This Sunday is Easter Sunday 2020! Last year, our team planned for Easter and none of us imagined that we would have to host a virtual Easter Experience online only. God works in mysterious ways and I thank God for an awesome team of individuals who are prepared to bring you an Easter Experience that you will never forget. Our theme for Easter is, “The Hero’s Journey.” If you love movies like me, you have seen this motif over and over again of a hero embarking upon a great journey, getting battered and broken along the way, and finally receiving victory in the end. For the Christian community, it is more than a movie script, it is a real life experience of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who was, is and always will be victorious. Don’t miss Easter at Impact Online as we focus on the Hero’s Journey.
We will only have the 10:00 a.m. Live Online Worship Experience this Sunday.
The following are our online viewing instructions:
• Go to: impactdcd.org
In the middle of the page, click the orange “Watch Live” link.
- To watch live on Facebook, go to our Facebook page: impactdoingchurchdifferently.
- Worship on Demand for the current Sunday will be posted at 12:00 noon Eastern Standard Time, which can be watched at any time.

Week 4: Sunday, April 5th: Palm Sunday
Impact Church Message Coronavirus: Sunday, April 5, 2020: Palm Sunday
Dear Impactors and Friends of Impact,
This Sunday is Palm Sunday and it represents Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem as we prepare for the beginning of Holy week which culminates on Easter Sunday. I am inspired by the generosity of each of you and the many ways you have shifted beyond your comfort zones to pray, call and donate to those in need. God sees your heart and is honoring all you do for your brothers and sisters. You are truly living the example of Christ. We continue to walk by faith and not by sight and even though these are trying times, God is still in control.
As you prepare to worship with us online this Sunday, I encourage you to read the scripture we will be focusing on which is John 20. I know we will have an awesome and wonderful Palm Sunday with your virtual presence and praise.
We will only have the 10:00 a.m. Live Online Worship Experience this Sunday.

Impact Church Message Coronavirus: Sunday, March 29, 2020
Dear Impactors and Friends of Impact,
We continue to walk by faith and not by sight and even though these are trying times, God is still in control. This week remember to pray for Healthcare workers, first responders and their families. We pray for God’s protection as they care for those in our society who have been infected and impacted by COVID-19. I want you to know, that God hears and answers your prayers and to encourage you to continue praying without ceasing.
This Sunday, we will be reflecting on a powerful scripture from Psalm 118:17 “I won’t die—no, I will live and declare what the Lord has done.” The sermon title for this Sunday is “Live.” Join us from around the world as we celebrate our God through song, prayer and proclamation and declare that we will “Live,” even in the midst of all that is happening around us.
We will only have the 10:00 a.m. Live Online Worship Experience this Sunday.

Impact Church Message Coronavirus
Dear Impactors and Friends of Impact,
As a local church, we are praying for our world and those impacted by the coronavirus (COVID-19), and we continue to hold fast to faith in our Creator and follow the guidance of the healthcare community regarding protection and prevention.
It is my hope that you continue to practice the recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC Coronavirus Information) about preventing the spread of the virus. Let us join together to diligently lift our healthcare providers in prayer as well as those who have been infected and impacted by the coronavirus locally and globally.
As a congregation, we are committed to providing a safe environment for all of our attendees; therefore, beginning this Sunday, March 15, we will have online worship only, and we are discontinuing in-person worship through March.
Since Impact began 13 years ago, we have always been committed to Doing Church Differently™, and one of the ways we have done church differently is by offering online worship which more than 1,500 people utilize around the world each Sunday. In our current climate, it is vital that we care for the physical and spiritual safety of our worshippers, and although this may be an adjustment for some, we believe it is the best practice moving forward.
We will only have the 10:00 a.m. Live Online Worship Experience this Sunday.

We will make it through what we are facing as a society, and I pray that you will remember that God’s favor and grace are covering you and that God is still in control. Continue to be in prayer for all of humanity and hold fast to Philippians 4: 6-7 — “6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
Thank you and may God bless each of you and each of your families and friends.
